Welcome, Fair Grove Tigers

 

I can't say how happy I am to be at Fair Grove Elementary.  Together we are going to do great things. I believe in working together to be the best we can for our students and community.

 

Just a little about me...I am from Pilot Mountain and graduated from Mount Airy High School.  I started teaching in Davidson County in 2002 as a third-grade teacher at Reeds Elementary after graduating from Lees-McRae College.  I also taught seventh-grade math at Brown Middle School before getting my Master's Degree from Gardner-Webb University.  I have served as an Assistant Principal at South Davidson High School and worked as a Director for Davidson County Schools.  Prior to coming to Fair Grove, I had the pleasure of being the Principal of Silver Valley Elementary for six years.  

 

My husband, Nick, teaches at East Davidson High School and we have two wonderful boys, Bradyn and Beckett.  They are both very involved in sports, which keeps us very busy.  We are all very excited to be together in the East Davidson Feeder pattern!
