Grading Procedures

Your child will receive grades in all subject areas. However, Math and ELA have major and minor grades. Major grades are weighted (60%) and minor grades are weighted (40%).

Grades are entered into PowerSchool once a week, and can be accessed using the Parent Portal. If you need to sign up for Parent Portal, you can see Mr. Walser in the front office. YOU WILL NEED TO SHOW YOUR LICENSE/ID TO HAVE ACCESS TO YOUR CHILD'S GRADES. You will only have to complete this process one time. You will be able to follow your child(ren) throughout their school career.

Davidson County Schools Grading Scale

Grades are as follows:

A: 100-90

B: 89-80

C: 79-70

D: 69-60

F: Below 60

If your child is out from school, they are responsible for completing any missed work. They will have the same amount of time to complete the work that they missed. PLEASE KEEP IN MIND ANY WORK NOT TURNED IN WILL RESULT IN ZEROES.
