Mrs. Nero(Ms. Barnes)

Hello!

My name is Mrs. Nero, formally Ms. Barnes! I am very excited to begin the 2024-2025 school year. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Inclusive education, which means I have a degree in Elementary Education K-6 and a Special Education degree in K-12. I also received my Master’s in Elementary Education with a focus in Mathematics. This will be my eighth year working for Davidson county and my sixth year teaching first grade. My favorite part of teaching is small group instruction! I also love reading and sharing my joy for reading with my students!
